Hours of operartion: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Saturdays, and by appointment.

SPECIAL FOOD PANTRY INFORMATION
The Botetourt Food Pantry is open on Saturdays from 9:00-12:00 and by appointment in case of emergencies. Check the Botetourt Food Pantry facebook page for any changes to our regular schedule. We currently have people come in and choose the food they need for their families. Clients fill out paperwork that is provided to Feeding America.
For the community by the community
St. Mark’s major outreach ministry is providing space and personnel to serve our community through the Botetourt Food Pantry alongside other area churches, organizations and schools who assist with the distribution.
Over forty years ago, Reedie Waid started the Botetourt Food Pantry. It has grown tremendously and is currently serving 140 families/500 people monthly. The pantry includes USDA food (received from Feeding America) which is distributed on a monthly basis.
Provisions
The pantry includes non perishable canned goods, frozen meats, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, baked goods and personal care items. The variety of food is dependant on donations of local stores, groups, individuals, and items available to purchase through Feeding America and local grocery stores. The food is given from the lower level of the St Mark’s Ministry Center which has its own entrance.
Volunteers
Volunteers are welcome to assist on Saturdays when we distribute to our neighbors. We also welcome Volunteers on Fridays from 9 am – 11:00 am to help organize the items for Saturday distribution. Call St Mark’s at (540)473-2370 or (540)597-0025 for more information.
