St. Mark's Choir

We are graced at St. Mark's with a dedicated all-volunteer choir and organist to provide us with a beautiful variety of music in the Anglican tradition.
Our choir provides important support for the congregation to sing and participate in the liturgy, as well as with hymns both old and new. St. Mark's uses the 1982 Hymnal in the pews supplemented by the "Lift Every Voice and Sing II" hymnal published by Church Publishing. In addition, the choir uses "Wonder, Love, and Praise" for supplemental music.
Choir Membership
The main purpose of the Adult Choir at St. Mark's is to lead the congregation in worship at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. Usually from September until May an offertory is presented which is based on the lectionary of the day. The hymns also reflect the message of the lectionary.
The group practices regularly at 9:15am on Sunday mornings.
See Calendar for updates.
Choir Director, Gret Kidd
Gret Kidd serves as the director of our choir. Tommy Hunter is our organist, with Bruce Wilsie or Sue Loeschen serving when Tommy is out of town.

Anyone who enjoys singing and is willing to commit to attending rehearsals and the 10:30 Sunday worship service each week is encouraged to join the choir. Contact St. Mark's for more information about the Choir.
