To know Jesus Christ and to make Him known!
St. Mark's Episcopal Church welcomes children of all ages, and children at heart to be fully incorporated in the life of the parish. We seek to provide multiple ministries for our youngest to our oldest members and friends.
Carole Beat Geiger, Ph.D., serves as Director of Christian Formation for St. Mark's. Emily Talbot-Guillote coordinates the Nursery and Children's Chapel and serves as the lead teacher for Godly Play.
Please see the monthly schedules (Nursery, Children's Chapel, and Children's Sunday School) for a list of volunteers who serve in each of these programs. St. Mark's welcomes new teachers and nursery attendants at any time. Our parish trains its staff and leaders with Safeguarding God's Children to ensure a safe and wholesome environment for our children to grow and experience the love of Christ. Emily Talbot-Guillote is our certified trainer for this program. We also take seriously the principals of the Episcopal Church's Healthy and Wholesome guidelines for children's and youth ministry.
We welcome and encourage you to participate in any of our programs as volunteers and participants. Not only will you gain personal insights into the Christian Faith, but you will enrich the experience of others.
